These dishes were made for a prominent American Indian. He [and his family] told me what they wanted in terms of color and size, and gave me an idea for the simple motif. Per the family's wishes, the bowls are a bit over sized. The dinner plates and salad plates measure about 11" and 9" respectively. The set also includes serving bowls and a large platter.
These dishes would be considered rustic by some. They are not perfectly round, nor do they stack as perfectly as factory made dishes. However, these handmade plates and bowls make a statement that their owners value their own individuality and appreciate unique and beautiful decor.
The price below reflects that of a three-piece place setting and increases with the complexity of the design.
Dimensions: Dinner plate: 11" x 7/8"
