This slab is 3" thick, unfinished, rough sanded, measuring 102" long. This Parota wood is from the Guanacaste Province of Cost Rica. This large 3" thick slab is a very stable hardwood suitable for furniture frames, table slabs, boatbuilding, millwork, turned objects and more. Parota is easy to work with hand and machine tools. Guanacaste has a unique appearance color and texture and takes finish well.
This wood species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
Finished slabs available upon request. This slab will cost $2673.00 finished. Please contact me for further details. Finishing includes: flattening the slab, sanding to thickness, shaping the edges and/or trimming to size, finish detailing and sanding, 3 coats of finish applied ready to use.
PLEASE INCLUDE A FULL ADDRESS when inquiring about an accurate ship cost. Freight companies need to know the street address to determine access for a large truck. Also provide and or consider a way to remove the crate weighing 3-800lbs from the truck and into your premises. There are freight options that will deliver inside your home in some locations.
