Custom Vanity - Hand-Pressed Yuma Concrete Sink With Solid Wood Base
This piece was a private commission for a client in Pennsylvania. The client loved the shape and drain style of this basin design and needed a base that would help the small bathroom feel more open.
Since the bathroom was small, our overall length was limited to 30". We decided that the veined finish with a light tan base color and darker tan veining would be just right to mesh with both the existing wall color and the dark wood base the client desired.
The 4-post base design with the single lower shelf perfectly conveyed an open feel. The base appeals to modern design concepts while its tall apron nods to the traditional style, as the client requested. The base is constructed of solid maple with an espresso finish.
