This sculpture was ordered to look like the bride and groom and personalized to match their themed wedding. The client wanted to toppers to look similar to them, but did not want the bobble head effect. I was asked to create it as a 007 spy wedding cake topper with the bride and groom holding guns and a bag of money at their feet.

The dress is similar to the bride-to-be's dress and the slit was added for the spy effect as well as the guns.

The groom was dressed in a white tuxedo with removable sun glasses.

I created everything with armature wire and polymer clay. I painted the final piece with acrylic paint and a clear coat finish. The clay choice is for the strength and durability of the piece for its use as a cake topper. They will be able to have this piece for years to come as a piece of artwork in their home.
