I love working with customers to develop a custom wedding guestbook quilt that expresses their current style and the vision of their wedding while creating a family heirloom.
I generally have a two month minimum turn around but I can do rush orders.
The process works in one of two ways:
1. I mail you a kit which includes fabric markers and blank fabric prepared for your guests to sign at your wedding. (I'll send you extra squares in case your guests mess some up). You return the fabric to me after the wedding, and I make it into a quilt.
2. I make you a quilt and mail it with fabric markers to you, and your guests sign the quilt at your wedding.
If quilts are done in advance of the wedding, they can be used as a backdrop for photo booths, chuppahs, etc. in addition to serving as a guestbook for your wedding.
Prices vary based on size and complexity of design. The $300 quoted is for a fabric kit quilt equivalent to the 49 square 5.5x6 ft. quilt pictured at the top. Shipping a whole quilt to you will be less cost than preparing a fabric kit which you mail back to me.
To get a quote, it is helpful for me to know 1. The size of the quilt you are hoping for (lap quilt, twin, queen, etc.) 2. How many guests you are expecting 3. What designs you are thinking of for the quilt and 4. The date of the wedding.
EXTRAS: Convo me for coordinating extras, such as Ringbearer pillows, bunting or garland, pillows, etc.
