Custom Wood Mantel Shelf

This mantel has a modern clean line look with a little bit of old world character. Each shelf is unique as we build and distress each piece by hand. They look great with either modern or rustic décor.
It is stained Jacobean color with a black glaze to highlight the distressing and three coats of furniture finish that will not yellow over time. The distressing can be heavy to light depending on what you would like.
We construct these out of 3/4" solid poplar wood and 3/4" plywood top and bottom. They are glued and screwed together to make a very strong shelf.

We provide a wood bracket, screws and instructions for installation.
These are very sturdy shelving when mounted to wall studs.
