Cypress & Ipe' Swing
I built this piece for a loving couple who wanted a swing that was a little more the your run of the mill "box store" variety. The construction is a cypress frame that is resistant to moisture with ipe' slates and arm rests also highly resistant to moisture. All bolts, screws, and chains are stainless steal for prolonged exposure to the outdoors. I used ellipses to give the piece a lighter feel and a five coat paraffin oil finish to seal the piece.
