Dress from the past.... This was such a sweet little lady & I did her wedding back in the early "90's". She was retiring from teaching & had reunited with her college fiancé. They were both widowed & found each other after all those years apart. WHAT A LOVE STORY !!!
He loved the dress Sue Ellen wore in the TV series "Dallas" & wanted hers to be like it.
I went to New Orleans to market and found this exquisite silver galloon lace which had been flown over on the concord from Paris just for this market. I remember paying $100. Per yard at that time for it.
I ran across a box when moving last month & found some of the lace neatly tucked away where I had saved it.
