Daphne-Acrylic On Foam Core Box

daphne, a character from an ancient greek story. about to be ravished by an unwanted suitor, she prays to artemis to save her. artemis turns her into a tree. i'm not sure if that's exactly what daphne had in mind, but it inspired this painting, which in turn inspired a bunch of back tattoos. she's done in a sort of in-between style for me, somewhere between the realism i had done and the abstraction and minimalism i was getting into. she's the only one that looks like this left in stock.

acrylic on a foam core box, she's sturdy and light, and measures 22x28, and two inches thick. the sides are painted so she can be displayed unframed, but if you're a fan of frames, not many come this deep.
