" Day to Night" is an original P. H. Miller Studio design using traditional water gilding methods, hand painted and gilded glass panels including the mirrors which are hand gilded with 12 karat white gold. The gilded and painted glass panels, also known as Verre Eglomise, depicts the ageless illustration of sunlight transitioning to moonlight.
This piece can be hung on flat wall, on a corner wall or placed on a table surface. The three panels are fixed at a particular angle. 12 karat white gold, 22 karat moon gold, and 22 karat gold leaf are all present in this piece. The 12 karat white gold used on the mirrors have been cut to small squares to stay in proper proportions with the size of the piece.
