Dining Room Set Restoration
This was an old dining room set that had been in the client's family for quite some time. Set aside in a garage for years it had taken some abuse. I reconstructed all of the chairs and the dining room table structurally from pieces and restored them to their natural beauty. They were all white hard maple but the client wanted the two tone look so I ended up with an off white oil based paint for the bulk and for the seats and table top I finished it with a rich stain and a super durable conversion varnish that hardens to a glass like finish.
