Dining Table & Chairs
Inspired by the sideboard in the background, the table and chairs feature four-sided tapered legs. The table includes two extension leaves that provide seating for 12. The massive crown molding around the apron of the table is custom made from a one-off custom ground knife set. Chairs feature seamless upholstery with no visible form of attachment to the frames. The end chairs include arms with custom made pewter end caps that were cast at a local silver & pewter foundery. Numerous computer models were created to make the chairs ergonomically comfortable. The back legs are designed with a curve that makes them impossible to lean back on.
