Requested by young newlyweds, this Coffee Table is constructed of solid birch, with a deep, dark brown stained 1-14" thick top, turned legs, & slats for the bottom shelf. Using mortise & tenon construction to make the table strong & solid, the young couple will celebrate many anniversaries with their new Coffee Table. As requested, the finish is a "distressed" or aged look; the top coat of paint is an antique/off white. Other pieces can be added later to match the design & finish of the Coffee Table.
