Doberman Furio To Bambino

I made this wood sculpture for a customer whose doberman dog, Furio died, now the customers have doberman Bambino. Furio was black, bambino is tan colored. This sculpture represents the passing from Furio to Bambino. Furio had a congenital liver disease, so his entire life he was running against the wind, signified by the grass and lettering angled opposing him, Bambino is healthy, signified by the grass at the base blowing the direction that he is going, running with the wind. Both dobermans, and their owners loved agility exercises, represented by the hurdle that he is jumping over. To attempt to create the mood of a pleasant summer day, in addition to the green grass, I added a solar disk of 23 karat gold leaf behind of his head.
