This quilt features clothes from a client's daughter's first year of life. The client held onto her favorite pieces of clothing, and when ready sent the clothes to me.
The tiny shirts, pants, jackets, and a little lovie were cut and combined with soft flannel into a quilt measuring approximately 40" x 50".
The quilt is double-sided, each side has 20 blocks made from a combination of clothing and fabric.
It was quilted with a straight-line design on each block. Where appropriate I added free-motion quilting to accentuate the fun features.
Some extra fun bits: the jacket zipper functions; the pocket from a pair of denim shorts is appliqued onto the shirt it matched.
