The finished product was truly a work of art. Michelle was patient, courteous, easy to talk with, flexible, without drama, artistic and a true craftspeople. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished transom piece which was 5' long and 12" high.
The large piece of glass was carefully prepared for shipping and travelled across country without a scratch. Thank you Michelle.
The Douglas family crest was the center piece of this design. The crest was hand painted and fired onto clear glass using Color Line glass enamels. To keep the crisp lines, each color was painted and fired separately. The border was created using traditional stained glass techniques and lead came fo an old world look. The panel was installed over an existing window.
