I wanted to share with you Bridget's story of how she had longed for a wedding dress designed just for her to wear for her beach wedding. With hesitance, she posted on CustomMade hoping to find someone who could help with what seemed impossible to her.
I saw Bridget's post and replied with a proposal and that is when it all began.
She wanted something white, flowing, and designed to bring out her best features while at the same time concealing areas, like all of us, that we would rather not be so visible on her wedding day. As she described to me what she had in mind, I began searching for fabrics best suited for her need.
I found a snow white chiffon, gorgeous! I fully lined the dress with a poly/cotton blend that hand the same weighted characteristic as the chiffon; it moved and flowed with the chiffon, but it was just the right density that Bridget did not have to wear a slip beneath. I designed two different belts to be worn, giving her a choice for personal preference.
Yesterday, I received these beautiful pictures of her wedding. She has thanked me abundantly for helping make her dream come true. I am thankful for her allowing me to be a part of this special project and through it all, I have made a new friend.
