Dressing Table/ Vanity

Primary Woods: Cherry, Purpleheart
Secondary Wood: Poplar
Designed and built by Stephen Skillins in 2011 but, was intended to be a federal style piece. Table is mortise and tenon joinery. Top is solid Cherry with Purpleheart cross-banding inlay along the edges and a thumb moulding along the front and 2 sides. 2 dovetailed drawers also have Purpleheart edge-banding, swiveling mirror with purpleheart cross-banding inlay, 4 turned legs, 2 flame finials hand turned then hand carved, custom engraved gold plaque. Mirror supports are joined with a stub tenon that is screwed in from the bottom to allow piece to be taken apart easily.
