Ebony, Maple Burl, Mahogany, And Padouk Chess Board
This chess board was made to fit an antique set of chess pieces from the 1940's. The squares are 1.5" in my favorite woods for a chess board,gabon ebony and maple burl. Trim is burl and ebony with a padouk delimiter. the rail and back are quarter sawn mahogany with tongue and grooved burl corners and curly maple butterfly joints.
