This slim, asymmetrical entryway table has a huge personality. Featuring a double live edge slab of locally reclaimed Hawthorn wood, this radically unique table creates a real statement in any home. Hawthorn is known to be one of the hardest, most durable woods around, and has been considered by many across the world to possess mystical powers. What we do know is that it's gorgeous and sturdy, making it the perfect statement piece for a strong, beautiful entrance to your home.

The base of the table is constructed out of welded steel tubing to allow for shoe storage on and under the rack. Black rubber feet on all four legs protect your floor and keep the table from sliding. In keeping with our mission to lighten the furniture industry's environmental impact, the wood is treated with a natural beeswax and mineral oil finish. Though we think it's perfect for an entryway, this table would also work as a fantastic side-board next to your dining table or behind your favorite sofa. We provide an optional crossbar for additional stability. It can be attached on either side of the table, allowing you to choose which live edge will be the front. We provide all hardware.

The two largest sizes of this table fold flat for shipping, so they require some minor assembly. There are 4 phillips head screws to attach (with pre-drilled holes), and four bolts to tighten in order secure the shoe rack. We recommend that you have a screw driver and an adjustable wrench. Smaller sizes can be shipped fully assembled.

This particular piece of Hawthorn was cut down in Chicago, but kept out of the trash by an upcycling facility just outside the city. We can make the table with a piece of single live edge wood if you would prefer only one live edge. Let us know if you prefer a specific type of wood, we'll be happy to search for it at our local reclaimed and upcycled facilities.
