Edward Cabinet & Table

The Edward Cabinet & Table are a conceptual duo. The idea was drawn from studying reliquaries. I became intrigued by the idea of a living reliquary. The wall-hung table acts as a carcass for an in-use sketchbook and includes two drawers for pens and markers. The wall-hung cabinet acts as an archive for finished sketchbooks. Each door is labeled with a typewriter key. They run from top to bottom a-e. The piece is meant to be displayed in a living room and is for friends, a collaboration if you will. Don't just look back at old photos. Look back at old drawings and doodles

This set was featured at the Messler Gallery's Regeneration: Fine Woodworkers Under 30 Exhibition. The work was sold through the gallery.
