This rose was done for my mother. After a rough childhood our relationship is now stronger than ever, She held herself accountable for a long time. This rose was to let her know, as a father now, that I understand how difficult it was to raise two pain in the butt boys by herself.
The rose is carved from Cebil. Cebil was supposed to be "impossible" for me to carve. This represents me. If told I can't do something, prepared to be proven wrong.
The stem is carved from Basswood. A very smooth and east going wood. This represents our relationship now.
The base is done from Bloodwood or Purpleheart. This represents the foundation of our relationship. Family
