This one of two freestanding corner cabinet I made to go in the corner of a dining room. The client had a photo of an old house with a similar build-in unit. I suggested that we build her cabinet as a freestanding china cabinet that she could enjoy and take it with she if you decided to move.

After collaborating with the clients we came up with a design and budget. The resulting cabinet was made from a agreed upon design and drawing.

The case of the unit was contracted from 3/4" hardwood plywood. The face was constructed from poplar hardware. The client selected a custom color.

This cabinet was designed to have a farm house feel. The doors are inset with simple hinges and simple wooden knobs. Magnet catches allow the door to securely close and are hidden from the outside of the cabinet.
