Feather Table
This Table was created in collaboration with our friends at Lacoursiere Custom Woodworking, because we decided this piece of Elm deserved a lot of love. The table top is solid live-edge Elm, which is quilted, spalted, and figured. The table is 54" long and ranges from 16" to 22" wide along its length. It is sanded ultra-smooth, and has a natural oil finish. The legs were hand bent from a single length of 1/2" steel, powder coated Flame Red and screwed to the board with recessed screws.
If you would like to buy this particular piece we would love to hear from you, but we would also love to find you the right live-edge board of any species, and design custom legs fitted just for that board. If you already have a plank you would like made into a modern, feather-light looking table, please be prepared to show photos, and we will be happy to arrange something.
