Federal Period Work Table

A Federal style work table inspired by the work of John and Thomas Seymour, Boston furniture makers in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The primary wood is mahogany having serpentine-shaped aprons and drawer with satinwood inlay panels accented by rosewood and ebony inlays and stringing. The top is made from highly figured crotch mahogany and the feet are turned from solid ebony.
