1095 and other high carbon steels make great traditional style blades, at a lower cost. The employment of cryogenics in the professional heat treating process is what sets my blades above traditional forged blades, where the owner guesses the temperature based on color.
I can make a knife using these steels, professionally harden them, and add the handle made from the stabilized wood/antler of your choice. A custom leather sheath can be made for it, by a local Amish leather worker, as well. Or check out my shop for unique knives that are already made from these magnificent steels.
