This piece was inspired by a custom piece I did for a gentleman in Maui. He wanted 2 tropical birds so I did another one to sell with 1 tropical bird. Albeit a different bird. I originally created this Blue & Yellow McCaw thinking it would be stunning in a coastal home. However, now that I see it in different spaces, I realize it would be an amazing copper accent mural in any room. Nor just on the coast. A very organic and natural piece with it being all copper.
This size is 34"H x 24"W. The entire piece is aged copper and all feathers, leaves, etc, have been hand cut. It is also mounted to 1/2" PVC and has 4 coats of hi-gloss epoxy poured onto the face of it. Therefore it can be hung in a covered outdoor space as the surface is completely protected from the elements.
