This has become my most popular Expanding Dining Room Table. The base remains fixed. The top splits in half and glides smoothly apart on long runners which go lengthwise through the table. The butterfly leaves store themselves under the top. Unfold them and they self-position into place. Lock the top and leaves together. The edge is a nice grid of Ebony and Holly. I have made this table in many woods. Pictured in Figured Walnut.
Dimensions: 42" wide by 66" long by 30" high- closed, seats 8 Open, the table is 108" long and seats 10-12 people.
