Floating Top Hall Table
I had seen this done a few times and had always wanted too, and now I finally have. It's made out of Brown Ash, Black Walnut and Hard maple for the stripes. If you are unfamiliar with the concept, "floating" simply means that the table top doesn't touch the legs at all. There are two bridges underneath supporting it from the side rails. Any combinations of wood can be made, simply ask. It does come with a built in lamp with a modern design to it. I do not include lampshades simply because one could get either a rectangle one or the standard cylinder. This table is perfect for the entry way to either a home or a library sign in desk. Another option available is either one or two shelves added between the legs. One near the floor and then another just above center. Dimensions are 48" Long, 17 and a half inches wide and 35" tall, not including the lamp.
