Flourish Christmas/Yule Tree
Don't let the picture fool you, this plate is not that transparent. It's amazing what backlighting will show, isn't that a great stand?
This plate is made of a green aventurine. It is similar to the mineral that it has shiny flecks in it. It is 2 layers thick and the image has been painted on (by me) and fired at approx 1450 degrees. It is a food safe paint. The firing ensures that it will not rub off, scratch off or peel off. Like my other projects, it is also dishwasher safe.
Can be made in a multitude of other colors/designs
