Flow Series (Steel Sculpture - Human Form)
This is a series of 10 pieces that speak to our curiosity about the world(s) around us. I create them by painting in 3D with molten steel. Then I coat them with different liquid metals - bronze, pewter or copper. After that, I work into them with color to highlight features.
They are about how we disperse our energy,
how we affect life around us.
Everything we touch we influence,
our very presence changes the world.
Just as we affect the world, the world has an effect on us.
Energy flows both ways.
Life is a journey with ebbs and flows,
go with the flow!
