'FOSSILS' are hand made necklaces featuring two thousand year old
RECYCLED Yupik tool remnants from the Alaskan island of St. Lawrence, near Northern Siberia. (This Bering Strait Island is 20 miles off the coast
of Siberia and 250 miles from mainland Alaska).
Ancient SIBERIAN YUPIK carvers used Walrus Ivory to create hunting
tools in their every-day pursuit of survival. These FAIRTRADE fossils
provide an IMPORTANT INCOME SOURCE for the descendants of this foreboding region. Our fossils are gathered in accordance with all federal
and state regulations and are an EARTH FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE to live animal Ivory.
Dimensions: Necklace is 27" long plus 2" to 3" long fossil. Each fossil is unique.
