Founding Fathers Writing Table

Founding Fathers Writing Table was made using wood that had been culled from historic homes in Virginia, among them Washington's Mount Vernon, Jefferson's Monticello, and Madison's Montpelier. There are fifteen different species pieced together in a marquetry trompe l'oeil top. The structural wood is walnut from Mount Vernon and the background to the top is a horse chestnut tree planted by Washington.
