We contacted Daniel about building a custom cabinet. We wanted very specific dimensions and styles construction, and he was more than happy to accommodate. He was fantastic about checking in with us when there were options we hadn't considered, to find out our preferences. He also gave us regular updates with photos through the entire process. His attention to detail and craftsmanship in even the unseen parts of the piece, as well as his eye for picking out beautiful pieces of wood to work with, resulted in a cabinet that is an impeccable work of highly functional art, that will stand the tests of time.
I designed this 4-drawer file cabinet to be evocative of the art deco period. It is crafted from quartersawn white oak sourced locally from Indiana hardwood forests. It features solid brass hardware, heavy-duty ball bearing slides, drawer locks, and accommodates both legal and letter size files using a built-in hanging file system.
