Free Standing Shelf
This apple ply shelf was for a customer who saw something close to it in a work out video.
The full shelf was made from 1 inch thick 21 ply maple veneer and given a black milk-paint finish. The shelves sit suspended with a dado slot in the legs. Each shelf is just a touch proud of the forward leg support - and each shelf depth decreases as it gains height for a stair-step look.
This piece is one of two for a symmetric feel on either side of an entertainment system.
