The story of how Kizzy arrived at Equamore is printed on the back of the card. Ten percent of the purchase price will be donated to Equamore Foundation to help with horse care and rescue.

Animal Art Greeting Card/Postcard Combination
This card is made with a postcard featuring my oil painting "Kizzy in Reflection". I flipped her image in Photoshop for the painting, not initially realizing that her markings would be reversed - so, this is how Kizzy sees herself! Kizzy was surrendered to Equamore because she had severely bowed legs and could not support the weight of a rider; she was also malnourished and in need of dental care. Kizzy is now healthy and retired with a herd of three other mares and a gelding friend. Ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of this card and other items featuring this painting is donated to Equamore Foundation, a non-profit horse sanctuary in Ashland, OR, to assist with horse care and rescue.
