Standing at over twenty feet tall – bronze based on gradual clay models which began in the 1:10 scale, then 1:5 and 1:3 thereafter all the way up to 1:1 After these steps the sculpture looks admirable – the scale reworked threefold creates an illusion of the viewing norm. Location is important, so that the sculpture looks great at every time of day. The bronze itself weighs about three tons.
