You can never go wrong with flowers as decorative pieces. They look so pretty individually and in the company of other flowers. I have made many different types of glass flowers, which vary in style, color, and size. This piece features a lovely purple shade on the blossom, and transparent green on the stem. You can combine this with other glass flowers in a vase, or lay it on a side table. The rose measures approximately 3'', while the stem measures 6''. I added bits of gold leaf to the glass to enhance the purple color. As with my other glass creations, this piece is kiln-annealed in my studio.
