Glass Stamp Mold

Hand carved from a potato, yes, a potato... apparently it works best for not sticking to the glass yet retaining it's moisture through the glass melting. It's used in glass making as a mold for powdered glass to be melted onto to make stamps for Wax Seals and such.

This one was made for a businesses wax seal for letter heads. The photos for the finished work aren't available, unfortunately.
