Sunny Side Up Fried Egg fused glass sculpture with pepper. Realistic and life-sized hand blown glass art figurine, good enough to fool the eye.
Your egg will be something like the ones shown above, but since I make each one with a free-hand technique the egg you receive will be completely unique. It will be carefully packed inside a free paper gift box with gold bow.
Okay, I know it's silly. But also fun. :) People will see this on your shelf and do a double-take! Makes a great conversation piece or a gift for your favorite cook.
Did you know that the color of egg yolks depends on what the hen eats? Pasture-raised hens that eat lots of green plants and bugs lay eggs with deep orange yolks like the one on this glass sculpture. Your glass fried egg(s) will be about half cooked, complete with bubbles and crispy edges. There's still some shiny clear stuff around the yolk . The "pepper" is in raised bumps you can feel with your fingers, but there are no sharp edges to cut your skin. The back is smooth. Where two overlapping eggs are shown they have been permanently fused together. Your egg (or pair of eggs) will be signed and dated on the back.
