Golden Trout Sculpture

Kneeling between the boulders on the river bank, gently cradling the big 21" Golden Trout (Salmo aquabonita) in his hands, Roosevelt turned to his fishing companion, "I've never laid eyes on a creation this beautiful." "He's a bright one Teddy", came the reply. "We're gonna eat good tonight...I'll build a fire." There was a long silence as hands lowered the exquisite creature to slide silently back into his icy water home. Mr. Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States slowely shook his head, "We'll eat jerky again tonight, I can't kill this beautiful thing! This is a wonderful treasure...this is the "Treasure of the High Sierras"
