I made this grasshopper by cutting, filing, and hammering recycled metal. Several coats of acrylic paint were used to add colors and details to the piece. Its eyes are made of glass pieces that were fired in our own kiln. The antennae and six legs are made of copper wire. This piece measures 10''x10''.
