I love to make pies or should I say eat. We used to have the standard pin with the red handles. When the paint started to come off into my dough I made a new rolling pin. These are straight cylinders that one uses with the palms on top of the pin. The extra length gives plenty of room to roll and lift your crust into its pan. The idea for green milk paint in the end coves came from the original red handles. They are finished with walnut oil. Mineral oil is available, on request, for those with nut allergies.
