This is a small round entry pedestal table, quite possibly made from possibly the rarest wood I have yet to find. It is from Marbled Cocobolo and what appears to be the moulding under the top is actually a separate table top in the same wood but smaller.
The legs are mitered in two locations and such table was inspired by the Maloof design.
As note, in one of the photographs one can easily see that there are carefully inlaid solid ebony splines to not only reinforce the table but to prove to all who view my projects that nothing is spared. This table, like my other such projects, are as or more beautiful on the underside(s) as the top.
The finish for this beautiful table was a 3 part mixture that was repeatedly wet sanded over an approximate 17 day period which will allow it to be used for many years.
This table, or a modification of its size, can easily be placed in many locations for its beauty and simple yet graceful design.
Dimensions: The top is less than 34". Due to the rarity of this wood, the price will vary accordingly.
