Gyotaku reproduction fish print of a LIONFISH (Hanami No Kasago) gyotaku rubbing, faithful to the original Japanese style of creating memorable prints for the avid fisherman; simple and monochromatic. Handsome and would be quite stunning behind a glass frame on any wall of ones home or office.

Beautiful and elaborate, the Lionfish displays an impressive array of feathery and venomous spines. A divers delight, an aquarium enthusiasts wonder and a culinary delicacy, the Lionfish has the power to enchant all that lay their eyes on it. The Japanese have given this fish a descriptive name which literally translates as, "Rockfish of Fireworks." To this date, this Lionfish has been the most difficult and complicated for me to print.

Print is 13x19 inches with a one inch border.

The red stamp is my name in kanji characters and my English name next to it.
Frame is not is simply to show what the print looks like in a black, float frame~
