The Woodworking Studio doesn't so much build cabinets, we make them unique, distinctive and personal by adding the accents that make them truly your own. This kitchen was done in collaboration with a kitchen designer to incorporate a natural theme as well as having some traditional design elements. The natural part comes in the form of the large hand carved Wormy Chestnut trees flanking and arching over the Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer. In this design a cardinal can be found on the left side, and on the right a squirrel as well as the birds nest with two eggs representing the clients two children. Photo 2:The range hood is a spray of oak leaves bookended with faces of mother and father earth. These were based in Celtic mythology. The remainder of the accents, brackets and corbels were kept in a traditional style. From the smallest carving detail to large custom pieces any carving is possible for the Studio to create specifically for you.
