Hand Carved Rustic Style "Butt Bench"
I first created this bench as a single seat for a customer who wanted a place to sit by the front door to put on his shoes before leaving. He liked the design so much that I ended up making several more for him to place at his business.
The hand carved seat is surprisingly comfortable for a hard wood bench. Three of the pictures show it made from Southern Yellow Pine, which seems to be the most popular as it shows the most grain and the other is made from Tulip Poplar.
