Hand Crafted and Painted Wood Shaker Inspired Multi-Purpose Step Stool with Handle / Chair - Free Shipping
I have always wanted to create furniture of some sort. I don't know about you but I am always looking for unique space saving furniture so I came up with the idea of a multi-purpose chair that I could display my "stuff" on or could use as a stool. This was inspired by the old Shaker style step stool with a handle. Designed to be easily carried by the handle and can be stored by hanging. It makes a wonderful helping hand in the kitchen to reach upper cabinets.
It makes a great wall chair due to its straight high back it can sit flush against any wall, it puts me in mind of a vintage child's church seat -pew.
I have thought up hundreds of possibilities for the chair which I will not bore you with but here are just a few which came to mind.
It would look great to display yours or your child's large dolls or a few smaller dolls together or some of those favorite stuffed animals.
This would also make a great " Time Out" chair for children or just to sit on under normal circumstances.
It can also serve as a stool if you need to reach that certain something which is out of reach.
The chair weighs approx. 9 pounds and what makes it nice is that it is easy to pick up and carry around due to the carved hole in the back.
I notched the joints so there is no assembly required it will come to you in one piece.
This particular chair is painted blue and is available but I will be more than happy to do a custom order for you with variations in color.
The chair was created from local reclaimed wood as all of my pieces are and measures approx. 32 inches tall and 15 inches wide and the seat measures 12 3/4 x 12 3/4 inches.
I have taken many more pictures of the chair so if you would like to see more I will be glad to send them to you.
Custom Orders are shipped within 10 to 14 business days.
If you purchase a piece which has already been made it will be shipped within 1-3 business days.
