The Rosewood wood handles are finished with five coats of ultra-hard lacquer ( similar to what is used on cars ), hand rubbed to a beautiful satin shine, then buffed with pure carnauba wax for our exclusive smooth, silky feel. This meticulous process makes our wood handles impervious to moisture and alcohol , preventing crazing, cracks, and discoloration that other wood handles are prone to.
