Hand Forged Steel Boat
This sculpture is titled "Opposing Views"
It is made from forged steel and exotic wood (laminated)
The size is 14"H X 33"W X 16"D
How the idea evolved: The function of a boat rudder, to control the direction of the boat, reminded me of how people argue. Each person has a sincere interest in controlling the outcome. If there is no compromise you end up with two rudders and the boat just goes in circles.
